age 94 years, of Valley, Nebraska. Passed away December 22, 2016 in Valley, Nebraska. Born June 19, 1922 in Platte County, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Shotkoski) Torczon. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Edward Torczon, Donald Torczon, and David Torczon; brothers-in-law Norbert Pinger and Emil Krings. Survived by sisters Edomina Pinger, Marie Krings, Betty (Prentise) Bebbe and Norma (David) Duren; sisters-in-law Marie Torczon, Jo Torczon, and Grace Torczon; numerous nieces and nephews. Alex was well known as a finish carpenter and was well loved as an uncle. Visitation at St. Bernadette Catholic Church (7600 South 42nd Street - Bellevue, Nebraska) Tuesday, December 27th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. all at the church. Interment 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Bonaventure Catholic CemeteryColumbus, Nebraska. Memorials requested to AseraCare Hospice or donors choice.
