Cathey, born March 12, 1924, went into the loving arms of the Lord on August 2, 2012, at the blessed age of 88. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Omar K. Cathey and brothers Daniel, Abraham and Abelardo Salda�a. She is survived by her children Albert (Delfina) Lozano, Patricia (Dick) Salda�a-Neumann, Jackie (Terry) Gruber and Kathryn Wheatley, siblings Samuel Salda�a, Olga D�Antin, Lucy Rodriguez and Delfa Cervantes, as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Alice was a member of two Masonic organizations. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, Sat-Ra Temple 59, in Omaha, NE, and of the Order of the Eastern Star in Bellevue, NE. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Bethany Funeral Home at 82nd and Harrison Streets, La Vista, NE. Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. with a service to be held at 1:30 p.m. followed by a graveside prayer at Bellevue Cemetery. A reception will be held at Mosher Pilgrim Presbyterian Church, 4622 Monroe Street, Omaha, NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association.
