Angeline F. Sokol (Kwapnioski)

September 23, 1932 — April 3, 2013

Angie passed away peacefully at her home in Shawnee, Kansas in the arms of her daughter after a brief but courageous fight against cancer. She was a loving Wife, Mom and the most wonderful Grandma two grandsons could ever want. Angie loved gardening, working in her flowers, polka music, and most of all spending time in Colorado with her daughter and family. Angie's most favorite times and fondest memories are of those spent at her lake home in the Ozarks with her two grandsons.Preceded in death by her husband John B. "Jack" Sokol; parents John and Victoria Kwapnioski; and 7 siblingsSurvived by daughter and caregiver Beverly and son-in-law Kevin Oldani - Centennial, CO; grandsons Anthony "Tony" and Branden Oldani; numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation Monday, April 8th after 5:00 p.m. with Vigil Service 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, April 10th, 1:30 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church - Tarnov, Nebraska. Interment 3:00 p.m. at St. Stanislaus Church Cemetery - Duncan, Nebraska
