August 9, 1936 - October 30, 2011 Born in Omaha, NE, the only child of Ted and Anna Gurczany (Gorzany). A 1954 graduate of St. Johns High School. It was on the campus of St. Johns and Creighton University where she met her husband Bob, of 57 years. Together they raised 10 children. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She entertained countless children as the ???Ladybug Lady??? for over 20 years visiting local schools and daycares, and through her last work experience at a local museum where she worked until age 70. She was a member of the Red Hat Society for 6 years where she also performed community service. Ann loved working on crafts to share with family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Stacy Cich. Survived by husband Robert ???Bob??? children Sharon Christian, Shirley (Tom) Beach, Sheila (Bruce) Froendt,Shelly (Mark) Hile, Sheryl (Randy) Cox, Sandra (Norm) Lee, Robert (Deb) Christian, Shannon (Lanny) Rover, Richard (Jonni) Christian, Ronald (Kerri) Christian 23 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends Interment St. John Cemetery.
