age 94, born Feb 10, 1915 in Omaha, NE to Stanley and Agatha (Piska) Zemula and passed away Apr 5, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV. Anna was a student nurse and a homemaker, who loved to cook and bake. She aided in the war effort during WWII by working in a factory, helping to preserve food goods for shipment to our troops. During that work she suffered a disfiguring injury to her hand but she never complained about it. Anna lived in Omaha for 92 years where she raised and nurtured her family. She relocated to Henderson, NV in 2008 to live with her daughter Barbara. Anna was called to our Lord on Palm Sunday at 11:45pm. Preceded in death by husbands Emanuel Jakl and John Gilbert, her parents, sister Albina, brothers Joseph Zymola and Frank Zemula Survived by children Emanuel Jakl - Omaha, NE Frances Crawford - Chatsworth, CA Bernard Jakl - Henderson, NV Barbara Crescitelli - Henderson, NV 14 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren 2 great-great grandchildren brother Leo Zemula Interment St. Johns Cemetery where Anna will rest with her husband Emanuel Jakl for all eternity.
