Anton E. "Tony" Zupan passed away on the morning of Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the age of 81 years.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents Anton A. Zupan and Caroline (Svajgl) Zupan; niece Jennifer Zupan; grand-nephew Mat George.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia (Conklin) Zupan; daughters Theresa M. Zupan, Lisa M. Zupan; and Amy Jo Corey Chappell; grandchildren twins Alexander and Caitlin Chappell, and Zoe Jolie Chappell; sister Carolin Zupan Davenport; brother Robert Zupan (fiance Tammy Patten); sister-in-law Joyce Schafer; brother-in-law Kevin (Olga) Conklin; Denise Schafer and Robert Muenkel; many nieces and nephews.
Tony grew up on a small farm and then his family moved to the 36th and Polk Street area in Omaha. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul Church and Elementary School. He was a member of the Gents Hot Rod Club. After graduation, he enlisted in the Navy for 4 years and was a BM3. He then went on to be a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #3 for 45 years. He was a very proud union member and Democrat.
Tony's three daughters were always his first priority. The girls couldn't have had a better or prouder father. He is so loved and will be missed by all that knew him. He also loved his cats Itch and Scratch.
