Bradley Alan Little, age 57, of Papillion, Nebraska, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, lovingly surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Robyn for 37 years; proud father of Andrew Alan (Amanda Simpson), Alicia Ann, and Zachary Earl (Sierra); loving grandfather to June Elizabeth, Samantha Jane, and Ellie Simpson; also survived by his parents Larry Alan and Rita Karen; dearest brother to Tammy (Bob) Richardson; uncle to Joshua (Maggie), Nicholas (Asia), Katie, Kristine, Alyson (Malcom), Thomas (Ashely), Alexander (Jacqueline), and Nicholas; great-uncle to Briar, Camden, and Eden; brother-in-law to Phyllis (Randy) Forster, Jacqueline (Michael) Walker, Daryll Youngquest, and James (Stephanie) Pratt.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; family-in-law Robert and Judith Redmond, Marilyn Redmond, Jennifer Youngquest, John Pratt; and other beloved family members.
Brad graduated in 1984 from Corunna High School and attended Baker College before joining the United States Air Force. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service and served honorably during his military career from 1986 to 1997. After his service he worked towards a PhD and pursued a successful career as a software engineer which took him to every corner of the world.
Brad openly shared his deep love for his family and friends and taught us all about the value of exploring the world. He started learning to sail at a young age, and gifted the same love of sailing to his family on his prized boat, A Little Endeavor. From sailing around the Great Barrier Reef, spending time on multiple African Safaris with Robyn, seeing his favorite bands in concert abroad, to many Liverpool FC matches at Anfield Stadium, Brad lived a life of curiosity and adventure. He shared his love of travel with his family by teaching them about the world, whether on a European tour, exploring a mountain top in Switzerland, or through many New York City trips. Brad was a gatherer of people; he collected experiences, stories, and friends. Brad packed a lot of life into 57 years and he will be deeply missed.
Although Brad loved to travel, his hobbies and tastes were eclectic. He loved the performing arts and attended every single show or concert by his children and grandchildren. He loved his favorite car - a burnt red 1977 Porsche 930 Turbo. He loved puzzles, crosswords, and a good dad joke. Brad had a deep love of music, especially anything Alicia created and Pink Floyd. But more than anything, Brad loved being a husband, dad, grandpa, uncle, brother, son, and friend to all. He reminded us that:
