Richard passed away Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home in Papillion, Nebraska at the age of 82 years.He was born on Tuesday, January 3, 1939 in Mallard, Iowa .

Richard was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mildred Kunz; brothers Dan, Dave and Paul Kunz.

He is survived by his loving wife Carol Kunz of 61 years; children Rebecca Casselman, Charles (Mary) Kunz, Roy Kunz, Jerry Kunz and Dawn (Nick) Griger; grandchildren Stasia (Alan) McGeeney, Summar (Frank) Gehrke, Michaela Barboza, Jordan Barboza, Ashley Kunz, Katie Griger, Kolby Griger and Kyle Griger; great-grandchildren Raleigh McGeeney, Roland McGeeney, Leighton Gehrke, RaeLynn Gehrke, and one more great-grand baby Gehrke on the way.
