This wonderful lady was an active and bubbly force of nature with an ever present smile and positive outlook in all of her 74 years.
She passed after fighting a sudden illness valiantly for several days. Carol brought light and spontaneity into everyones life she touched. Family, friends, bank tellers, grocery clerks, plumbers...it didn't matter who. She leaves behind a small army of close family and hundreds of friends across the Omaha area.
Her surviving blended family includes 2 brothers, a sister, a husband, 4 daughters, a son, nieces, nephews, and 19 grandchildren with 3 of them great-grands. Plus, so many wonderful in-laws who never every felt like an in-law. They were her family too, loved just as deeply. Carol believed in goodness first and always.
She felt everything intensely...love, sadness, joy, empathy. She is now in the welcoming arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Very much at peace with the long and full-of-evergy life she was able to live. Carol dear, all of your family will love you forever and tell the great stories of your life to those many younger grandchildren. Watch over us and help us make all the good decisions that you would make.
