Preceded in death by son Jim Pohl; parents Carl and Rose Svendsen; sisters Mary Goodbrod and Judy Busse; brother Fred.Survived by brother Bob (Rose) Svendsen; daughter Chava (Rich) Kantor; sons Mike (Kathy), Steve (Sonja), and Andy (Beth); 8 grandchildren - Sarah, Hannah, Leah, Mark, Eric, Nathan, Chelsea, and Wyatt; 18 great grandchildren.Visitation at St. Mary Catholic Church (36th and Q Streets) Monday, August 24th, after 5:30 p.m. with Vigil Service 7:00 p.m. at the church. Funeral Tuesday, August 25th, 11:20 a.m. Bethany Funeral Home Chapel to St. Mary Catholic Church for 12:00 p.m. noon Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. John Cemetery.
