He was born to Clarence Lee Armstrong and Fern Ellen DeLes Dernier on January 20, 1931 in Nebraska City, NE. Charlie also worked for K&B Brake Service in Omaha as well as owning, farming, and raising cattle after retirement in Union, NE. His loss will be mourned by daughters and sons-in-law Deeleen and Cliff Sawyer, Larele and Rich Costello, son and daughter-in-law Charles A. and Judy Armstrong grandchildren Deborah (Joshua) Sawyer Gathman, Joshua (Anna) Lee Sawyer, Charla-Carole (financ?? Zach Henerey) Costello, Harrison ???Hank??? Costello great grandchildren Zoey and Trace Gathman many friends and other relatives He graduated from Omaha Technical High School in 1950, and married his high school sweetheart Caroldeen Powell in 1950. They lived in Omaha until near his retirement and then moved to a farm near Union, NE for 27 years. He had recently moved to Papillion.
