She was survived by significant other Mark Peterson. Children James Smith Jr., Kimberly Smith, and Nichole Smith. Grandchildren Elissa, Cody, Kristal, Janette, Avelin, Cohen and Zofia. And three great grandchildren. Brothers Charles and Patrick Lyons and Brian Conway. Sisters Cathy (Marvin) Miller and Debbie (Mike) Luger.
Christine was born and raised in south Omaha where she remained her entire life. She enjoyed camping and being with her family and siblings. She fought many years with chronic illness, in Which she had defeated several times before losing her battle. She spent her last days at home surrounded by family.
