Preceded in death by parents George and Alice Brown; brothers Bob Brown and Ted Brown.Survived by loving husband Richard (Butch) Serefko; children Allyson Serefko, Christi (Rick) Merrick and Matthew (Madelyn) Serefko; brothers George Brown (Mary), Bill Brown (Lori) and Ricky Brown(Amy); sisters Kathy Larry) Masters and Dottie (Larry) Barrett; and 6 beloved grandchildren.
Cindy was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on March 4, 1957 to George and Alice Brown. She attended South High School in Omaha, Nebraska where she met the love of her life Richard (Butch). They married two years after graduation on October 15, 1977. They started their family in Bellevue, Nebraska, raised 3 wonderful children and later welcomed 6 grandchildren.
She worked for the Papillion La Vista Schools for 24 years and devoted her career to children.
She always put everyone else's needs above her own and was a natural caregiver. She enjoyed time camping with her lake friends, hanging out with her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family; late night boat rides, and attending any function associated with her loved ones.
