age 66 years, of Omaha, Nebraska.Ordained Permanent Deacon in 2001 with ministry at Saint Gerald Catholic Church.Preceded in death by parents Joe and Cecelia Valasek; sister Lorraine McDougal.Survived by wife Kathy; daughter Jenny; son Andrew; brothers Eugene (Wanda), Ray (Wally), and Frank (Jean); sister Delores Bosiljevac; sister-in-law Rosemary Maschka; many nieces and nephews.Tom will be most remembered by his family and friends as someone whose love of life was shown by his helpfulness to others, strong faith, and always present smile.Member of the Knights of Columbus Father William A. Foster Council 9518.Visitation at Saint Gerald Catholic Church (96th and Q St.) Tuesday, July 10th, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. with Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. all at the church. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, July 11th, 10:00 a.m. at Saint Gerald Catholic Church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Military honors by Benson V.F.W. Post 2503 Honor Guard.
