Deborah "Deb" Ann Shepherd
June 23, 1951 — January 8, 2023
Deb was born in Brockton, Massachusetts and she joined the Air Force in July 1970 working as a nurse until she left the Air Force in 1974. She continued her career in nursing at several different facilities in the Omaha area and retired in 2016.
Deborah is preceded in death by her long-time companion David Nykiel, parents Bertha (Sheurs) Hubbard and Paul Hubbard.
She is survived by her son Paul (Brooke) Boltinghouse; grandsons Austin Boltinghouse and Michael Boltinghouse; sisters Paula Campbell, Lynn Cox and Sharon Volpe; family friend Robert and Nancy Nykiel; and David's son Jeremy Nykiel.
