Denie Ann Nesvan

Denie Ann Nesvan was born on May 2, 1946, in Omaha, Nebraska, and peacefully passed away on the morning of Monday, December 4, 2023, at the age of 77 years.

Denie was a force to be reckoned with; tackling challenges head-on and never shying away from expressing her opinions. Her assertiveness was only matched by her deep love and commitment to her family and friends. Despite her strong-willed, independent nature she possessed a heart that was generous and fiercely protective.

Throughout her life, Denie faced adversity with a tenacity that inspired those fortunate enough to know her. Her determination and resourcefulness served as a source of strength for her loved ones, proving that even in the face of difficulties she could be counted on for support.

Denie was preceded in death by her father, Mirko Nesvan; daughter Samantha (Jespersen) Bogatz; and sister Polly Nesvan.

She is fondly remembered and survived by her son, Mathew Jespersen; mother Geraldine Nesvan; sisters Jill Nesvan and Deborah (Nesvan) Latimer; grandchildren Maceal (Nate) Pechacek, Alex (Kathi) Jespersen, Britten Bogatz, and Lee Michael Genovesi; great-grandsons Matthew and Theo Jespersen, and Lyle Pechacek; as well as numerous other beloved family members and friends.

As we say our goodbyes to Denie, let us cherish the memory of the spirited and straightforward individual she was - a woman who leaves behind a legacy of independence, resilience, and distinctive charm that will be remembered with fondness. May she find eternal peace, enveloped in the love and admiration she rightfully earned.
