age 83 Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2008. Dottie was born on Sept. 24, 1925 to Henry & Mary Sroka in Omaha, NE. She was a lifelong resident of Omaha until moving in 2006 to Tampa, FL for 2 years. Most recently she resided in North Platte, NE. She kept family and friends entertained with here quick wit and great sense of humor. She was big hearted and generous and had many stories that she would share with all. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Sonny, and the love of her life for 43 years, her husband Sam ???Hap???. Survived by daughter Cindy (Steve) Harvey - Tampa, FL granddaughters Monica (Mark) Vanarsdall - North Platte, NE Desirae (Clete) Samson - Phoenix, AZ brother Hank Sroka and Norma - Gridley, CA Many special thanks to the staff of Great Plains Hospice & Great Plains Regional Medical Center for the exceptional care and compassion given to Dottie and her family, we are forever grateful! There will be no visitation or memorial service. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society or for Masses for Dottie. She would appreciate everyones prayers. Dottie will be loved and missed by all that knew her.
