Dorothy was born September 3, 1924 in Omaha, NE, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Julia Deryckere. She attended St Mary's Catholic School and a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church. Dorothy was a seamstress, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she was a friend to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Kocsis; her sisters, Alice Mac and Marie Ryck and brother, Morris Deryckere. She is survived by her son, James J Kocsis and wife Terryl of Davis, CA, and daughter Janice L. Skeens and husband Larry of Prattville, AL; her grandchildren Jennifer Kocsis of San Juan Islands, WA, Ryan Kocsis of Davis, CA, David Skeens of Prattville, AL, and Justin Skeens and wife Vanessa of Pacifica, CA; great grandchildren Ellison Skeens, Brooklyn, Skeens, and Jase Skeens; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
