September 4, 1931 - March 20, 2010 Doug served in the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion for over 50 years. After his military service, he worked as a projectionist in the Omaha area his entire career. He devoted over 50 years as a proud member of IATSE Local 343 for which he served as president and union member. Dougs generosity, passion, and spirit touched all who knew him. He will be missed by many and we are grateful to have had him in our lives. Survived by wife of 60 years Ruth Geddings; Daughter, Cheryl Dolinski; Sons Glen (Veronica) Geddings, Kenny (Debbie) Geddings and Danny (Jennifer) Geddings. 9 Grandchildren - Jim (Brenda), Branden, Brent, Melissa, Ashley, Savannah, Priscilla & Alexander. 5 great-grandchildren - Andrew, Sara Rose, Dayton, Carter & Montae. Brothers Eugene Geddings, Norman (Peggy) Geddings. Sister in laws Jaunita Ross, Betty Louder and Brother in law Cecil (Betty) McCaskill. Many nieces, nephews, and friends.
