Duane was preceded in death by his parents Mart and Liz (Mattes) Kanne and his brother Marvin Kanne.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Carol; daughter Ann Kanne; son Steve (Kiki) Kanne; sisters Linda (John) McElvain, Alice (Mike) Schenkelberg, Sharon (Chuck) Chylinski; sisters-in-law Virginia Gonzales and Olga Kanne; many nieces, nephews, family and friends
