Survived by wife of 56 years Barbara; sons Edward L. Rider junior (Terri) and Robert G. Rider (Brenda); granddaughters Kaitlyn Rider and Abby Rider (fianc Jeremy Kemp); grandson Edward "Nate" Rider, all of Omaha; sister Wanda J. Tanner, Florence, KY, and Roylan Horbach, Omaha; brother Douglas Rider, Union, KY; nieces and nephews.
