Elizabeth "Betty" Lucille Morrissey

Elizabeth Lucille Morrissey (nee Hayes) "Betty" was born to parents William and Veronica Hayes on Thursday, February 14, 1929, in Lillis, Kansas. She passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, July 31, 2023, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 94 years.

Betty was preceded in death by husband Owen "Jerry"; her parents; brothers Gene Hayes and Richard Hayes; and sisters Dorothy Fox and Maxine Norris.

She is survived by sons Robert O., Gary F. (Sue), and Steven P. (Krista); grandchildren Samuel Morrissey, Kady (Adam) Schwisow, Cody Suydan, and Andy Suydan; great-grandchildren Bradleigh, Sawyer, Callum, Ezra, and Elliott; brothers William Hayes, Larry Hayes, Jim (Sherrill) Hayes; sisters Joan Hayes, Judi (Harlan†) Weber; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
