Ella Marie (Visocsky) Siderewicz, 97, of Yuma, Arizona passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in her home surrounded by loved ones.
Ella was born on January 10, 1922 to Steve and Edith (VanFleet) Visocsky.Ella worked for Cudahay's Meat Packing Plant in Omaha, Nebraska while attending beauty school. She married Fredrick Nicholas Siderewicz on April 14, 1944 and worked as a self-employed beautician for over 40 years. Ella moved to Yuma, Arizona in 1997.
Ella enjoyed working as a weekend farmer on their farm in Emerson, NE. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Omaha and later Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Yuma, AZ. Ella collected Lefton angels and other Lefton china items.She enjoyed decorating her rock garden with colorful flowers. She loved playing games with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ella had a talent for crocheting and knitting beautiful items for friends and family members.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred, grandson Jerome Michael Siderewicz and nine siblings.
She is survived by her daughter Virginia (Ginger) Casey, Yuma, AZ and son Thomas and Mary Siderewicz, Westmoreland, KS, four grand-daughters, Melissa and Shane Hansen, Elkhorn, NE, Melinda and Todd Manyx, Annandale, VA, Nicole and Casey Peter, (Minneapolis, MN) and Kallie Siderewicz (Tucson, AZ), six great-grandchildren, Brad Hansen, Kailey and Ethan Kocourek, Stephanie Hansen, Conner Manyx, Hayden Manyx, MacKenzie Peter and three great-great-grandchildren, Ella Rose Claire Hansen, Kaiden Kocourek,Emry Kocourek, two brothers Steve and Dennis Visocsky (Leavenworth, KS) and numerous nieces and nephews.
