Evelyn Rita (Drvol) Frans departed this life on June 28, 2018.Born May 23, 1935, she lived, loved, and served in the Lord.

Born to Stanley and Regina Drvol in Omaha, NE, Evelyn was sister to four:Phyllis Knicky, Gene Drvol, Robert Drvol and Christine Tersasinski.She grew up in South Omaha, and graduated from South High in 1950.

Prior to marriage, Evelyn worked as an insurance agent.She was always known for her big smile, her outgoing bubbly personality and inner and outer beauty.

Evelyn awaited her marriage to the love of her life, Robert L. Frans, Bob , as he completed his assignment with the U. S. Navy.They were joined in marriage on August 28, 1954 at St. Anthonys and were blessed to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary surrounded by family, friends, and music.

Together, Evelyn and Bob loved and lived life.They were blessed with 9 children; Jeffery, Lorene, Bradley, Brian, Mark, Keith, Todd, Valerie, and Eric.They were excellent polka dancers, waltzed gracefully through many dances and weddingsand embraced polka music in every event of their lives.Even in her senior years, Evelyn would rush home from Saturday evening mass to catch the ‘Mollie B' show on television.

Evelyn and Bob played cards, gardened, canned, owned and managed rental property, and lived daily life…..simply. Evelyn was a dedicated housewife and mother, and provided for her family by being thrifty and resourceful.She was an avid couponer, seed gatherer and sower, gardener, canner, seamstress when needed, and always had that special item or canned good to give. Evelyn was a volunteer for over 10 years at the Stephens Center's homeless shelter.She loved to swim, read, work puzzles, and play cards with anyone and everyone.

After retirement, Evelyn and Bob were blessed to become winter snowbirds in Texas where they spent many hours at the pool and on the seashore collecting precious sea shells. As their retirement years wore on they made Kimberling City, MO their vacation home where life slowed down.Evelyn looked forward in greeting the blooming dogwoods, red buds and mimosas every year

Evelyn was a member of the Elks Lodge 2505 in Kimberling City, MO and a regular guest at Elks Lodge 2057 in Weslaco, TX. If she could help it, she never missed a single "Queen of Hearts" or "Show Me the Money" game night.

Just like her flower gardens, Evelyn was blessed with beautiful and bountiful off springs that included 18 Grandchildren: Jennifer Griess, Jeremy, Joshua, Jerad, Jacob Frans, Ryan Watson and Rachael Allen, Brandon Frans, Michallea Mendick, Christopher, Elizabeth Frans, Emily, Ean, Eliie Frans, JessiLee and Isabella Basino, Matthew Frans and Melissa Hergenrader.

27 great children: Megan, Dillon, Dawson, Morgan Griess, Nathan, Kailie, Kylie Frans, Natalie, Mercedes, James Frans, Lexie, Alyssa Frans, Andrew, Jase, Lillian Frans, Tarisa, Cora, Tendra Frans, Charlotte Bowen, Alliyssa Mahloch, Hunter, Easton, Landon Frans, Ava, Austin, Addison Hergenrader.

And last but not the last, 1 great-great-grandchild, Brantley Griess.

Evelyn was a parishioner of Saint Mary's, St. Stanislaus, and St. Bernadette parish and Our Lady of the Cove, Kimberling City, MO.

The Lord was Evelyn's life and she praised and prayed our Savior daily.She made it her goal to educate her children and grandchildren and bring them closer to the Lord.She especially prayed for young lives that were in harms way and made it her mission to dedicate daily prayers for lost children.

Evelyn was a strong and courageous woman and truly put her life in the hands of the Lord.Completely solid in faith, Evelyn walked into heaven praising our Lord, Mary our Mother, countless angels and saints and then into the arms of her love, Bob.

We let her go, with heavy and grateful hearts.

Evelynwas preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Regina Drvol and her loving husband of 60 years Robert Frans.

She is survived by her children; Jeff (Colleen), Lorene (Gary) Watson, Brad Frans (Patricia Sorich), Brian (Debbie), Mark (Geri), Keith, Todd (Colleen), Valerie Frans (Todd Basino) and
Eric (Stephanie) Frans; 18 grandchildren 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
