Jad married Beverly Hassett on June 6, 1953 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Omaha. Beverly died November 23, 1971 but together they had one child.
Jad is survived by son Bill (Deb) and 4 grandchildren Jake (Samantha), Jessi (fiance Tony Novotny), Katie, and Keith; special friend Charlotte Olechoski; sister-in-law Patsy (Hassett) Bosanek; brothers-in-law Patrick (Jimmie) Hassett and John Votrobek; and many nieces and nephews.
Jad changed the spelling of his name in high school to Jadlowski at the suggestion of a local sports writer who thought it made it easier to pronounce the Polish surname.
