Gloria Elizabeth Barton December 1, 1930 - November 27, 2024 Omaha, NE - Gloria Elizabeth Barton, age 93, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024 Gloria was born on December 1, 1930, in New York to Julius and Lola deConcha. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her kindness, generosity, and her love of painting. Throughout her life, Gloria's artistic spirit enriched the lives of those around her, and her vibrant presence will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Barton. Gloria is survived by her daughters, Caroline Stephenson and Andrea Gunther; her grandchildren, Hunter Tessin and Mariah Duryee; and many other cherished family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Bethany Funeral Home, 8201 Harrison Street (no service). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Town and Country Animal Rescue in Gloria's memory, Gloria's legacy of love, warmth, and creativity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
