Gratia Maria Jones-Setlak

Gratia Maria Jones-Setlak passed away at home in Papillion, Nebraska on the morning of Wednesday, March 23, 2022 one day after turning 87 years of age.

Gratia was born in Harper, Kansas to parents Chester and Lola Monroe. From her birth to her passing, Gratia led a life filled with adventure, music, and love. She traveled the world during times between owning many properties and businesses. She was a very gifted musician and her talents were ingrained in her many piano students over the years. She taught piano for nearly 60 years to countless students including her own children.

Gratia loved to keep busy and always seemed to find something to do; whether it was waltzing with her husband Ed or enjoying her four-legged companion, Ginger. However, the greatest love she had was the love of her children. She considered her children to include her biological children, step-children, or the countless piano students. The impact she left on this world will be felt for generations to come.

Gratia is survived by her loving husband Ed and many family and friends.

Memorials may be directed to Heartland Rescue of Auburn, Nebraska, Sarpy County Town and Country Humane Society, or to a charity of your choice.
