Harold William Knapp

Harold William Knapp passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024, at the age of 78 years. He was born August 6, 1945, in Stamford, Connecticut.

Harold is preceded in death by his mother Sarah Montgomery; father Harold E. Knapp; and sister Virginia Tiriolo.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Karen; children Jerry (Sue), Jeanne (Darie), Jeff (Kasie); grandchildren Tyler (Brooklyn), Brian (Andrea), David (Brenda), L’Markus (Tiffany), Braytn, Pheonix, Aodhan, Aisling, Rhyland; 10 great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces, and other family.

Harold proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1966-1970.  After being honorably discharged he remained in Omaha and continued his career in transportation, raised his family, and joined Nebraskans in cheering on the Huskers.
