**Obituary for Howard Aldrich**
**February 27, 1941 – April 4, 2025**
Howard Aldrich, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and respected member of the Bellevue, Nebraska community, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4th, 2025, at the age of 84.
Born on Thursday, February 27th, 1941, Howard dedicated his life to education and service. A passionate school teacher by profession, Howard touched countless lives in his community, sharing his love for learning and inspiring both colleagues and students alike. His commitment to education was matched by his dedication to the values of brotherhood and service as an active member of the Masons.
Howard is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Aldrich, lovingly by his side through life's journey. He leaves behind his daughter, Jen Callen, and son, Chris Aldrich, who will continue to honor his legacy. He was the cherished grandfather of six grandchildren, Zachary Petriw, Trevor Petriw, Addison Callen, Madelyn Callen, Mckenzie Aldrich and Skyler Aldrich who will remember him for his warmth, wisdom, and engaging storytelling. He is also survived by his sister, Marge (Bob) Pullen.
Howard was preceded in death by his son, Trent Aldrich, and his parents, Oscar and Margaret Aldrich.
Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Howard are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will be held at Bethany Funeral Home in La Vista, Nebraska, on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. With a Masonic Service starting at 11:30 am.
