He was preceded in death by his parents George and Catherine Schwer; sister Phyllis Lambert; and son-in-law Jeffrey Warren.
Howard is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Shirley; son Ken (Kathy) Schwer; daughters Linda (Wayne) Heine, Deb Schwer, Cindy Schwer, and Kristi Warren; brother Don (Nancy) Schwer; twin sister Helen Mann; 10 grandchildren; and16 great-grandchildren.
