James Michael Burson, Lt. Col. Usaf (Ret)

April 24, 1949 — October 30, 2019

A 23 year Air Force Veteran followed by 20 years working with BAE Systems, loving father, grandfather, and best friend and soul mate to his wife Kathy; James Michael Burson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at the age of 70 years.

Lt. Col. Burson was preceded in death by his parents Alex and Genevieve Burson; daughter Kristine Burson; brother Richard Burson.

He is survived by his life partner and best friend of 55 years, Kathy; son Kenneth Burson, DDS; daughter Kerry Burson; grandchildren Dominic and Tayton; sister Linda Kay Burson; and sister-in-law Linda Jean Burson; numerous other family and many many friends.
