James D. Heidenreich

age 86 years, of Omaha, Nebraska.Born in Crete, Nebraska to Stanley and Ruth (Hamilton) Heidenreich. He died from stage four lung cancer. Jim served two years in the US Army (October 22, 1951-October 23, 1953) stationed in Beale Air Force Base, California. He returned to Fullerton, Nebraska and was employed at the local creamery. He then moved to Omaha, Nebraska where he was employed at Office Air Force Base as a vehicle maintenance supervisor for many years retiring December 3, 1991. He and his wife, Marjorie, were married on June 22, 1957 at St. Peter's Parish in Fullerton, Nebraska. They were married for 59 years. Survived by his wife Marjorie (Lassek); three sons Tim, Dave (Judy), Mike (Jodie); two daughters Diane Barnes, Mary Riley; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Ruth; his brother Stanley Jr. Jim loved his home and family, grandchildren, and the outdoors. He loved camping, hunting, bird feeding, and helping his wife grow roses and flowers. Visitation Tuesday, September 6th, after 5:00 p.m. with Vigil Service 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Wednesday, September 7th, 9:20 a.m. Bethany Funeral Home Chapel to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (36th and X Streets) for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. John Cemetery.
