James Tresemer passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 in Papillion, Nebraska at the age of 74 years. He endured a three-year battle with cancer and faced every health challenge that came his way with dignity and grace.
Jim was born on February 12, 1945 in Ashland, Kentucky. He met his future wife Ann while in the Army and stationed at Fort Lee Virginia. They married in 1969, and returned to Omaha after serving overseas in Okinawa, Japan.
A graduate of Creighton University, he worked at Saint Joseph Hospital and University of Nebraska Medical Center for more than 40 years. He enjoyed refinishing furniture and attending the College World Series and Nebraska football games.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Ethel; brothers Sam and Dan; and sister Pat Miller.
He is survived by his Loving wife of 50 years, Ann; sons James (Tamera) and Charles (Jackie); sister Bonnie (Jerry) Kahler; and grandchildren Jaidin, Eric, Shaun, Avery, Riley, and Jack Davey Tresemer.
