Jay Sila, age 51, a loving husband, father, son & brother, of Papillion, NE, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Jay was born February 27, 1971 in Omaha, NE to Jack and Leslie Sila. Jay is survived by his parents and grandfather, Jim Woodward; his loving wife of 28 years, Tammy Tamborini and their three children, Colton (Katie), Sierra, and Jadon; his two sisters, Mindi (Wade) Grim and Celeste (Steve); nieces, and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Jay was an electrician by trade for over 20 years. He was a Project Manager for Midwest Protection Services, doing fire alarm installations for over 10 years. He was loyal to his family & friends, hardworking and always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
Jay had many passions, including golf, fishing, camping, and watching his children participate in sports and activities. Jay is known for his love of the Dallas Cowboys, and would often enjoy watching the games with a cold Bud Light in hand.
Visitation will take place Friday, August 5th at 10 am. Funeral will follow at 11 am. Services will take place at Bethany Funeral Home 8201 Harrison Street LaVista, NE 68128. Celebration of Life will follow from 1-4 pm at Addy’s Sports Bar and Grill 14110 S St. Omaha, NE 68137.
