Jenifer Jo Dvorak, age 51, of La Vista, Nebraska passed away at home on July 15, 2019. Jeni was born in Omaha, Nebraska to parents Donald and Laveda Langle.
Jeni met her husband Brian in April of 1985 and the two were married several years later on May 15, 1992. In October 1994 they had their first child Tyler and then in August 1999 had a second child Brianna. At that time, she became a full-time stay at home mom, enjoying everything it had to offer.
Jeni was diagnosed with the genetic disease Cystic Fibrosis at a young age. She never let that stop her from enjoying family, friends or anything life had to offer. All while fighting and treating her C.F. Over time, the disease had taken its toll on her lungs and she would need a transplant in the future. In 2010, she started the process of becoming a transplant recipient. Jeni and Brian made numerous trips to the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio for tests. Then on April 20, 2013, Jeni received a double lung transplant and was given a second chance at life.
From that day forward nothing could stop her and she lived her life with much appreciation. Every day she thanked her donor for the second chance at life and the gift of more time with her family. Through many tough battles, she always remained strong and positive. Her will power to fight anything that came her way, her selfless words and actions, and her love for everyone around her will never be forgotten. Now she can just breathe easy.
Jeni was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Leveda Langle. She is survived by her husband, Brian Dvorak; two children, Tyler and Brianna Dvorak; along with her 4 sister-mothers Tari Kress, Rosie Stockwell, Dianna Jarrett, and Kathie Bressman; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
