Joann Izokaitis

JoAnn Izokaitis May 23, 1954 – November 2, 2024 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of JoAnn Izokaitis (Zurek) who passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 2, 2024. JoAnn was a beloved wife, mother, and friend whose legacy of kindness, warmth, and generosity will be forever remembered. JoAnn was born on May 23, 1954, In Omaha, NE. From childhood, she displayed qualities of compassion and an innate sense of responsibility toward others. JoAnn will always be remembered for her love and strong spirit. JoAnn was preceded in death by her father, Robert Zurek. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ed, of 46 years; her children Jennifer Izokaitis, Susan (Billy) Dziurawiec, Melissa (Tim) Barnes, and Vanessa (Dustin) Heim; her mother Rose Zurek; her brother Robert Zurek II; her 8 much-loved cherished grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. JoAnn will be deeply missed; but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
