age 82 years, of Papillion, Nebraska. Born May 24, 1933 in Okaton, SD, she married William Bill Shelton in August 1958. Joanne was one of eleven children. She worked as a R.N. until her retirement in 1995. Her and Bill lived in Grand Island, Nebrasaka until retirement when they moved to Oxford, Nebraska. Later they moved to Papillion, Nebraska to be close to their children. Preceded in death by her parents, 7 siblings and a granddaughter Hannah Redwine. Survived by husband Bill; daughters Cathy (Steve) Sickler and Kim (Marty) Thiemanboth of La Vista; grandchildren Jennifer (Eric) Baker, Ryan (Mallory) Dennhardt, Tyler (Michele) Redwine, Chalee (Thomas) Rehm, Hilary Redwine, Joel (Lindsey) Mettenbrink, Holly Turco, and Allison Redwine; great grandchildren Macy, Ella, Laynee, Teagan, Solomon, Samson, Bellamie, Elijah, Raimee, Rhya, Emmerson, Elliot, Jonathan, and Hattie; brothers Dick DaumMurdo, SD and Nick DaumDix, NE; sisters Betty SloasMemphis, TN and Katie MillerKansas City. Joanne was a dear friend to so many. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her kind and gentle heart and her sweet spirit. Visitation Tuesday, May 10th, 6:008:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
