age 65 years, of Ralston, Nebraska. Passed away peacefully after a long struggle with brain cancer on Monday, December 26, 2016. He was born January 28, 1951 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was the devoted son of the late Ralph an Madeline (Wright) Barry. After graduation from Peru State College in 1973, he quickly educated the hearts and minds of many children as an elementary school teacher. Over the course of his 40 years of teaching he was a beacon of knowledge to students, friendship to his colleagues, and brought extra joy to all those around him. On June 22, 1979, he married his love Linda Darlene Baker and together they had one daughter, Ashley Renea. He was a loving and supportive husband, father, and grandfather. Throughout his life, he quickly became a part of the peoples lives around him; leaving a lasting impression for years to come. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Linda; daughter, Ashley Conley (Andrew); grandsons, Shayne and Ethan; and brother Charlie. Visitation Friday, December 30th, after 4:00 p.m. with Funeral Service 7:00 p.m. Bethany Funeral Home Chapel.
