John Anthony Degeorge

June 29, 1943 — May 8, 2021

John Anthony DeGeorge was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska.After graduating from Omaha South as a 3-sport athlete and State Champion wrestler, he went on to attend Omaha University, and wrestled there.He had an extensive career as a teacher and a successful career as a coach. John later returned to UNO to earn his Master's degree in School Administration.

He is survived by his five sons and their spouses, 20 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, sister, Mary Mayo (John), brother, Tom DeGeorge (Karen Odsen), two nephews and a niece.He was preceded in death by his father, Tom DeGeorge, and mother, Rose (Sirianni).
