John A. Fjelstad

July 20, 1945 — April 2, 2014

of Papillion, NE. John passed away on April 2, 2014 following a brief illness.He was born July 20, 1945 at St. Clare Hospital in Monroe, WI to parents Clifford and Pauline Fjelstad. John grew up on the family dairy farm in Brodhead, WI, an outstanding athlete in football, basketball, and golf, graduating from Brodhead High School in 1963. He went on to U.W. Whitewater, receiving a bachelor's degree in 1968. He worked many years in Madison, WI before moving to Omaha, NE.He is survived by his sister, Ann (John) Hager of Rapid River, MI and his nephew, Joseph Gesbeck of Milwaukee, WI. There will be no services.
