He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Barbara Ann Holst (Kubin); children John J. Holst, Dianna (Steven) Hoins, Robert (Linda) Holst, and Theresa (Doug Spongberg) Kraniewski; grandchildren Chad Hoins, Michelle McDonald, Grace Holst, Grant Holst, Stacey Rasmussen, and Laura O'Leary; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.
