John J. Roza

September 28, 1919 — October 1, 2018

John grew up on his parents farm with 7 siblings. He married Marie Buglewicz on November 10,1942 and raised 4 daughters. He served in WWII from 1942-1945,in the 89th Calvary RCN squadron and was awarded a certificate of merit.

After the war, John worked for the railroad, and eventually as a truck driver for Kraft foods, where he retired.

John and Marie enjoyed dancing to polkas with friends at the Eagles Club on Saturday nights.
During retirement, they took cruises, travelled to Europe and enjoyed his army reunion trips.

John was a hard worker, a kind and generous strong man who liked to laugh.
You will be greatly missed.

John was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Mary Roza and loving wife Marie Ann
(Buglewicz) Roza.

He is survived by his children; D'Ann Roza, Betty Byers, Nancy Bolin and Joanne (John) Cullen; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
