John P. "Jack" Munnelly

June 28, 1936 — July 24, 2016

age 80 years, of Bellevue, Nebraska Jack personified a true Fighting Irishman. He fought hard through many medical battles but his last fight was not to be won. He is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Preceded in death by parents John and Marie; sister Maureen; brother Timothy. Survived by wife JoAnn; daughters Jody Munnelly Kripal (Jim) and Maureen Munnelly Mickells (Tom); grandchildren Tommy Mickells (Betty), Mandy Mickells Mixan (Mike), Missy Mickells Cobb (Gage), Mackenzie Mickells Beauchamp (Blake), Makayla Mickells; 12 great grandchildren; brothers Dennis Munnelly (Rita) and Brian Munnelly (Ann); sisters Machaela Moore (Mick) and Marybeth Rommelfanger (Bob); numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, July 27th, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with Memorial Service 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Thursday, July 28th, 10:20 a.m. Bethany Chapel to St. Marys Catholic Church (36th and Q Streets) for 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Omaha National Cemetery - Sarpy County, Nebraska. Memorials will be directed by the family.
