Joyce received her High School GED in 1979 and continued her education to become a hairdresser. She had many talents which included caring for the elderly at various care facilities, cooking for the elderly, knitting baby blankets and scarves for family members. She also enjoyed camping, Nebraska Women's Volleyball, nurturing her indoor plants, baking cookies and cakes for her family and neighbors during the holidays.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband Daniel Newburn of La Vista; daughter Heather Newman of Papillion, NE; son Shane (Carrie) of Omaha; granddaughters Alyssa Combs of Omaha and Rylee Newman of Omaha; brothers John Fey of Plattsmouth, NE, Jeff Fey of Peoria, AZ, and Jim Fey of Cape Coral, FL; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and an extended family of Jennifer, Brad, Jolene, TJ, and six grandchildren
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Marlene Fey.
