Judy was born in South Omaha Nebraska on September 4th, 1951. She attended Saint Mary's Catholic grade school and graduated with Packer Pride from Omaha South High School in 1969.

Judy was also a sports enthusiast and could be found lining softball fields, volunteering at various Omaha Wheelchair Sports Camps, on the sidelines at a multitude of her children's sporting events, and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
She was a lifelong gardener, animal lover and advocate. She was proud of her Roman Catholic faith, and was not shy in voicing her political views. Judy had a kind heart and a good ear for listening. Thanks to her Cockatiel and Slotomania groups the people she has touched span the globe.
