Employee of Lakeside Hospital, Waverly High School graduate. Kathie was an avid bowler, loved life to the fullest and lived more moments in her 56 years than most live in a lifetime. As a Lakeside Hospital employee, Kathie found her niche as a food caterer in being on the move, brightening patients days with her boundless energy, quick smile, and upbeat attitude. Those attributes, combines with her fierce determination and often fiery spirit, served her well in the all – out war she waged on cancer.
Kathie is survived by her husband Gerald "Slug" Gillman - Omaha; Mother Marilyn Manske – Greenwood, NE;Sister and brother – in – law Linda and Wes Winter – Lincoln, NE; Niece and nephews Karlee Winter – Lincoln, NE, Logan (Jacey) Winter – Greenwood, NE, and Luke Winter – Lincoln, NE; Many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Preceded in death by her father Wilber Manske.
