Larry Lamar McMahan born June 4, 1942, Matedor, Texas to J.C. McMahan and Mary Gaines McMahan. J. C. McMahan was Killed in WWll in Belgium when Larry was just 2 Years Old. Mary Gaines than married Douglas Levering in April of 1945 and Larry became his adopted Son. Connie Pearl Schneider and Larry met in South Dakota while Connie was attending nursing School, and they were married in Biloxi, MS January of 1960. Larry served in the Vietnam war where he was involved in a accident causing a brain Injury,which Larry lived with the entirety of his life. After returning from war Larry and Connie lived in Sioux City and Texas, spending most of their time in Corpus Christi.
Military Honors will be livestreamed through the Bethany Funeral Home Facebook page Friday at 3:00 p.m.
Interment will be handled by Willoughby Funeral Home in Howard, South Dakota.
