Lonnie Dale Clark, a cherished member of his community and a devoted family man, passed away on April 23, 2025, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 70. Born on March 21, 1955, in Hannibal, Missouri, Lonnie lived a life that was rich with experiences and love, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
For an impressive 38 years, Lonnie dedicated his professional life to being a truck driver for Shamrock Concrete, where he was respected for his hard work and commitment. His career was a testament to his strong work ethic and passion for his craft.
Lonnie found joy in various hobbies and interests, often enjoying the great outdoors through activities like hunting and fishing. He had a deep appreciation for music, especially classic country, and treasured moments spent playing cards and collecting coins. His love for reading, particularly books by Louis L'Amour, and his passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, showcased his vibrant personality and adventurous spirit.
Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Nancy Clark. He was a proud father to son Clint Clark and daughters Kimmie Renshaw, Tina (Aaron Dougherty) Clark, and Vanessa Clark. He also embraced his role as a father figure to Garrett (Megan Harris) Smith and Miles (Lupe Gonzalez) Seaholm. Lonnie shared a special bond with his brother James (Janet) Clark and sister Pauletta Clark, along with his beloved nephews Joe (Kimberly Betts) Clark, Jeremy Ziemann, and Justin Ziemann. His legacy continues through his four granddaughters and one grandson, who will carry forward the stories and memories of their beloved grandfather.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Jason Clark, along with many beloved family members and friends who were dear to him. While his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit and the values he imparted will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on May 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM at Bethany Funeral Home & Cremation Service, located at 8201 Harrison St, La Vista, NE. Following the service, inurnment will take place at a later date at Papillion Cemetery.
Lonnie’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and memories that will be cherished forever. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
