age 90, of Omaha DOB July 27, 1918 in Rapid City, SD to Everett Palmer and Myrtle Thomas. Lorraine was the oldest of 10 children. She was adopted on October 25, 1920 by Howe and Vida Patton, but was raised by oldest step-sister Merle Patton and her husband from about the age of 5, in and around Colome, SD and Valentine, NE. Lorraine was married to Lee Osterman, on August 10, 1935 in Kilgore, NE. To this union were born 5 children, Joan, Miriam, Leo, Eva and Neva. Preceded in death by infant daughter Joan, husband Lee, sisters Genevieve, Lois, Phyllis and Laurel, brothers Darrel and Jack. Lorraine leaves behind daughter Miriam Stamp - Spokane, WA son Leo (Joan) Osterman - Omaha, NE daughter, Eva Osterman-Hails - Cleveland, OH daughter Neva (Mark) Alvarez - Omaha, NE 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren sisters Gloria and Evelyn, brother Theodore - all in the Seattle, WA area. Memorial Service in Omaha at the home of Mark and Neva Alvarez at 6014 Ohern Street, Sunday, April 26, 2009 from 2 - 6 p.m. A potluck will be served after the service, anyone wishing to bring a dish may. All family and friends are welcome. Graveside Service Tuesday, April 28th, 1:00 pm at Kilgore, NE Cemetery. Memorials to the family at 6014 Ohern Street, Omaha, NE 68117. Announcement of Memorial Service will be published again in the Spring.
