age 81 years, of Omaha, Nebraska. The 4th eldest of 10 children born to Chester and Lucille (Balda) Addison. Peg began working in high school riding the bus from South Omaha to Boys Town every day to help support her family. Married James in December 1950, a stay- at- home wife and mother to their 3 daughters. Through these years she was very active in volunteer work in her community and especially at her childrens schools, Girl Scouts, and the Christian Womens Club at her church. After their daughters were grown, Peg worked at Richman Gordman until ill health forced early retirement. She then returned to volunteer work, most notably as an instructor at the YMCA. Peg most loved spending time with her family, enjoyed sewing, crafts, knitting, crocheting and taught her skills to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a staunch supporter of their many activities and attended as many of their functions as possible. Through all of her health issues she was lovingly cared for by her husband. Her strong faith and positive attitude encouraged all those around her and her smile and gentle ways will be greatly missed by many friends and relatives. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert, sisters Shirley, Virginia, Patricia, and Dorothy. Survived by husband James; daughters Kathleen (Edward) Foy, Karen (David) Nolan, Kristy (Harold) Perkons; grandchildren Becky, Stacy, Cindy, Henry, David, Melissa, Brad and Aaron; step-granddaughters Michelle, Becky and Theresa; 24 great grandchildren; brothers George (Vickie) Addison, Chet (Faye) Addison; James (Gloria) Addison; sister Rosalie (Robert) Schumacher; many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, November 18th, after 4:00 p.m. with Vigil Service 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Thursday, November 19th, 9:20 a.m. Bethany Chapel to Holy Ghost Catholic Church (52nd and Q) for 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. John Cemetery.
